Oct 6, 2020 · Hello I have a Carrier infinity syetem with a SYSTXCCITC01-B thermostat. I have been trying to figure out how to have the humidifier on in manual or fan only mode. I can get it to turn on in the cool and heat profiles but cant get it to come on when I just want the fan on without heat or cool. The reason I want this is because I dont need heat ... Old Post, but here is an update - Carrier has release a new firmware 4.23, and they have updated the Home app (at least in Android) and this seems to have resolved the connectivity issue. I have the fancy carrier infinity thermostat. It is not worth it. I hate the controls, or lack of controls really. The ability to use a variable fan speed is a lie. The system determines fan speed and mine has never been adjustable.
