I found the skull by chance but don't know where the soul is to return it. I searched here, on Internet maps, on videos, but mostly the focus is on the skull location, rarely the soul location. And when Arvak's owner is indicated, it points to a location just before the wall that you go through coming from the start portal, but no soul to be found.
